Richmond Hill: Brand strategy, brand identity design
Client
Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder is a Melbourne institution that was first opened by Stephanie Alexander over 10 years ago. It has become famous over the years and is well known for its impressive cheese room and other gourmet produce – jams, chutneys, relishes etc. RHCL approached Boldfish looking for a local agency that could help improve and elevate their branding identity design, packaging and website to help maintain their brand positioning of a progressive, contemporary, high quality, sophisticated, gourmet café.

- We created an abbreviated version of the wordmark logo which was the acronym RHC&L to add some versatility to the branding story and ensure it worked at smaller sized applications
- We added an art deco pattern design element to the brands overall identity linking to the decor to help personalise the brand and while ehnacing the overall brand identity look and feel
- We also added gold to add some sophistication and quality to the brand look and feel
